Boards and Committees

Serves in an advisory capacity to the district superintendent, overseeing district finances, ministerial credentials, church property matters, and the general health of local churches across the district.  

Ministerial members: Dr Shaun Mellors, Rev Anthony Van Zyl, Rev Sibusiso Nkosi

Lay members: Grizelda Smith, Mark Schoeman, Thembelihle Buthelezi

 Examines and evaluates all candidates for ministerial licence and ordination, and makes recommendations to the district assembly on matters of clergy standing, transfers, and retirement. 

Members: Rev Daniel Grove, Rev Caleb Smith, Rev Timothy Mogorosi, Rev Amos Madonsela

Guides ministerial candidates through their course of study toward ordination, and reports their educational progress to the District Ministerial Credentials Board.

 Sets district operational budgets, establishes funding goals for local churches, and publishes the district's method for determining financial apportionments. Ministerial members: Rev Vincent Kandan, Rev Shaun Mellors, Rev Andre Donaldson

Lay members: Hazel Khumalo, Richard Thipe

 Advances church building projects, verifies and conserves local church property titles, and approves or disapproves propositions relating to property purchase, sale, or indebtedness.
